Things I Like

Feb. 5, 2014

If you’re like me you avoid buying an intense military grade phone cover for two reasons:

1) They don’t have fun or quirky pictures on them
2) They’re way out of your price range

Well I think I’ve found a way to avoid this dilemma. I received this product from Flipside in Auburn.

At first I thought it looked a little ridiculous:

After using it for a while I’m actually pretty excited about it. If I was the outdoorsy type it would be perfect for outdoor sporting activities like skiing or snowmobiling, because unlike the Ziplock you’ve got stored in your kitchen, this is touch sensitive! The entire time I used it I never had one problem actually using my phone. It even took great pictures with the sleeve still on:

Even though I’m not too much of a wilderness woman, I still found great use for it in my lazy lifestyle. I still haven’t found a holder for my iPhone while I’m working out at the gym so I instead just shove it into my sports bra while I sweat away. See the problem? By the end of my work out I’m sure I’ve done some kind of damage to my delicate device. So I had the brilliant idea to use this sleeve instead and it was pretty great, because while you can’t submerge your phone while it’s covered in this, it’s good for a little condensation…or boob sweat as was my situation.

Another time I found the sleeve useful is when I’m eating my snacks. When Superbowl Sunday rolled around and I had that heaven sent sleeve on it I found I had 100% less greasy stains or smudges all over my beautiful, gold, glittered case. I was free to rub my salasa-y hands all over it…with the sleeve that is.

What mundane activities do you think you could use this for? I’m not sure anyone can beat my level of lazy.
